Data protection rethought

Data protection and privacy in a digital world are more important than ever. At the same time, it is becoming more and more difficult for a large number of companies to find their way around the jungle of the GDPR and are therefore affected by possible fines amounting to 4% of the previous year's turnover. Another form of unnecessary financial burdens arises from claims for damages on the part of those affected.

At the same time, however, competitiveness must also be maintained and expanded. Personal data is therefore the crude oil of our time. Because the more you know about your potential customers, the better you can address your products and services to the target group.

Data protection ... as much as necessary,

as little as possible

Data protection regulations that paralyze the company's development have no right to exist. Data protection is therefore not an end in itself. We therefore not only consider the legal regulations, but also put them in relation to your company.

We pay special attention to risk management in data protection. Because only if you know how high your individual risk of fines is can you make economically sound decisions about which measures have to be implemented and which not.

In principle, we only recommend measures that are sensible, necessary and help to minimize fines or that can be implemented with little effort.

We thus manage the balancing act between profitability and compliance assurance.

Our approach

  1. After a discussion about your ideas, we will work out an individual implementation strategy. You can choose between a standardized procedure or an individual audit.
  2. In the second step, the results are compiled in an audit report and any violations are weighted according to severity. In an easily understandable presentation of the results, these are presented together with the countermeasures and the next steps are explained and jointly prioritized.
  3. Building on this, the implementation phase follows. It is our philosophy to actively support the customer, especially in this hot phase. That means; we don't leave you alone with the tasks at hand, we work to help you.
  4. Since we usually look after our customers on a long-term basis, the legally required PDCA cycle, the continuous improvement process, starts. In this project phase, annual audits or other support services such as employee training are carried out as required.

The right one

Time is now

According to studies, many small and medium-sized companies fail in innovation projects due to the requirements of the GDPR. Those companies that manage to reconcile data protection and innovation will be able to draw decisive competitive advantages and assert themselves in the market in the long term.

Data protection in a digitalized world will always be a quality feature and also a confidence-building argument for your company. In addition, you save yourself costly fines or even claims for damages from affected persons.
